Dear Mr. Shusterman:

I totally agree with the idea of fining those who have crossed the border illegally to join their U.S. citizen family. With economy not showing signs of improvement while state and federal governments are experiencing serious financial hardships, hefty fines would be much more beneficial than a 10-year bar. This would serve dual purpose of keeping the family together while allowing the USCIS to have the additional funds desperately needed to handle the increasing volume of petitions on a more timely basis.
