Absolutely correct. What about nurses.....we'll even need more of them!

I'm an IMG, passed the requirements with high scores and I am absolutely baffled by the limits set on the J1 visa. I mean after training a Physician for 5-7 years in primary care or a fellowship, and spending hundreds of thousands on their training the US actively forces them to leave despite the immense shortage in the US?

Does the coming healthcare bill help fix these issues or is no solution in sight?

I am an IMG,passed all requirements,ECFMG certified.Doesn't need visa, because I am green card holder.Trying to get residency possition unsuccessfuly since last year.Unfortunatly, despite of physicians shortage in USA,IMGs even with legal status are not welcome.I don't think healthcare bill, will solve this problem. There is huge wall between IMGs and residency postions in US.
